What an ending. I must say I didn’t want the end to come as I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about Crow and Button/Pearl.
I liked that where one book finished the next one carried straight on with the story. I felt a range of emotions while reading this final instalment. I was frustrated with some of Buttons decisions, I could understand her thinking but she made me so cross at times. The love and passion can be felt throughout the story and the sex between Crow and Button was hot as ever. One thing that surprised me was how I felt towards Cane. Throughout the first two books I hated Cane for what he did to Button but Penelope completely changed my feelings buy the end of Buttons and Pain and now I’m hoping we get Cane’s book as that man deserves an strong beautiful woman of his own.
I thoroughly recommend the Buttons series and am sad its come to the end as I will miss Crow and Buttons

When I saw my escape, I took it. Now I’m in New York City and trying to get my life back on track. Despite the tracker in my ankle, Crow hasn’t come for me. He hasn’t even called me. I told him the depth of my feelings but he cruelly rejected them.
Maybe he’s forgotten about me.
One day, I walk into my apartment and spot the pile of buttons on the counter. I never left them there, and there’s only one explanation for their presence.
Maybe Crow hasn’t forgotten me after all.
